Transcutaneous oxygen partial pressure measurement (tcpO2 or TCOM) is a local, non-invasive method for determining the oxygen partial pressure on the surface of the skin and the systemic arterial oxygen partial pressure. It is therefore an immediate indication of the absorption capacity of dissolved oxygen in the tissue.
