A robot which to be used for microsurgery. Microsurgery is a surgical technique which uses microscope and requires highly delicate tool handling skill. The technique is essential on surgeries which dramatically improve patients' QOL and prognosis, including but not limited to reconstructive or transplant surgery. However, technical difficulty limits the number of surgeons who perform it. The robot with our unique fine work manipulator assists operator surgeon's delicate tool handling by providing motion scale down and hand tremor control. It assists performing safer and more effective microsurgery, and also expected to improve surgeon's learning curve dramatically.
