The V2U Active Passive Trainer is an upper and lower limb rehabilitation system designed to allow patients to actively and passively train their extremities through a fixed axis. For users (Eg. Geriatric Frailty, Parkinson's, Multiple Sclerosis, Stroke etc.) who are not able to engage in active range of motion, it assists with passive range of motion exercises to keep them as active as possible. Additionally, users can simultaneously engage in upper and lower limb exercises. This comprehensive equipment facilitates training on all limbs, including the shoulder, elbow, wrist, finger, hip, knee, ankles, and other related muscle groups. It aims to improve joint mobility, enhance muscle strength and endurance, boost cardiopulmonary function, and improve limb coordination. The V2U Active Passive Trainer allows for the storage of individual patient progress and offers multiple training modes: passive training with a motor, active training mode, motor-assisted training mode, and constant speed training mode. It also features multiple game modes, providing six situational interactive games with audio-visual feedback during exercise sessions. The device includes statistical analysis of data to quantify training effects and incorporates multiple safety protection mechanisms.
